Bennington, VT

Dianna was getting cabin fever since we had so much snow, so we decided to take a weekend trip to Bennington, VT. We stayed at a B&B and had a nice dinner at a local steakhouse.

This covered bridge is one of many in the area.

Plymouth Rock

The first weekend we were here, we visited Plymouth Rock. It's famous, but not very impressive.

They are not really sure where the Pilgrims landed, but it certainly was not where the rock is currently sitting.

Rhode Island

We have been thnking about a blog for a long time. Since we travel much of the time and our family is spread all over the country, keeping in touch with everyone is a challenge. Creating web pages to doucment our travels is not very easy as it involves a lot of steps and time so we thought we would try this. It is pretty straightforward and can be updated any time we have a chance. We'll see.

I know this is cheating, but we decided to back date some postings so we could share some of what we have already done while here in Rhode Island. We arrived here about February 7 so that is the date of this post.
